Animals MOVEMENT

Before we consider specific features of animals in fast movement, we should address to the generalized form. The artist more often also needs to draw animals in movement.
To show the big speed of movement of animals, try to represent animals with cross legs which are not touch the ground. One more way of displaying high speed is show of the crossed legs of an animal above the ground.

If we would like to draw a few animals in movement, for right display use deferent poses of animals in order to prevent monotony. The reason is hardly believe that all animals can have identical poses. On intermediate images animals do not seem very fast that they are in a real life.
Many wild animals usually draw in movement on rough surface where they jump more often. Generally all animals, except the elephants, can jump. Hippopotamus and also not be able to jump, they simply press everything on their way. Despite of these animals big sizes, they manage to run very quickly.
Let’s sketch phases running animal. If the animal pushes up from the ground with two back legs usually they land with only one. In the middle of a jump it is possible to represent both legs in parallel each other.
